About the Role

Due Diligence Specialist

InvestorOps specializes in supporting clients through investor engagement, fundraising operations, and relationship management. We partner with clients to create a professional, high-touch investor experience throughout the fundraising process.

The Role

We are looking for a confident and experienced Due Diligence Specialist to support investor qualification and final-stage investor communications for our clients. This role will serve as a trusted third-party representative responsible for conducting diligence and verification calls with prospective investors.

You'll help ensure investor receive a professional, informed, and seamless experience by leading follow-up conversations, answering high-level questions, and coordinating closely with Investor Relations teams throughout the investment process.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is confident speaking with investors, highly professional, detail-oriented, and excited to work within the fast-paced world of private capital and fundraising operations.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct due diligence and verification calls with prospective investors.
  • Represent InvestorOps clients professionally during investor interactions.
  • Lead follow-up meetings and final investor qualifications calls.
  • Communicate deal information clearly and confidently from a third-party perspective.
  • Ensure investors understand investment terms, timelines, and next steps.
  • Coordinate closely with Investor Relations representatives and client teams.
  • Maintain detailed records of investor communications and call outcomes.
  • Escalate investor concerns or compliance-related matters when appropriate.
  • Support the investor onboarding and capital raising process through strong relationship management.
What We're Looking For

Must-Haves

  • 4+ years of experience in investor relations, private equity, venture capital, financial services, fundraising, or related client-facing environment.
  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable speaking with accredited investors and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Ability to discuss investment opportunities professionally and objectively.
  • Experience conducting client-facing or investor-facing calls.
  • Highly organized with strong follow-up and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience in due diligence, fundraising operations, or financial compliance.
  • Familiarity with private markets and alternative investments.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and investor databases.
  • Background supporting U.S.-based investment firms or fund managers.
