About the Role

Executive Assistant | Overland Park, KS Contract | $26-39ph. LHH is working with a professional services organization in Johnson County who is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to senior leadership. This interim opportunity is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys serving as a trusted partner to executives, clients, and internal stakeholders. The Executive Assistant will manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings and travel, support special projects, and ensure day-to-day operations run seamlessly. Success in this role requires exceptional organizational skills, professionalism, discretion, and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide direct administrative support to executive leadership, including calendar management, scheduling, and prioritization of meetings and appointments.
  • Coordinate complex domestic and international travel arrangements, including itineraries, accommodations, transportation, and expense reporting.
  • Prepare meeting materials, presentations, reports, agendas, and executive correspondence.
  • Serve as a liaison between executives, clients, vendors, and internal teams while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate leadership meetings, board meetings, client meetings, and company events.
  • Manage executive expense reports, invoices, and administrative documentation.
  • Support special projects and initiatives while tracking deadlines and deliverables.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with the highest level of discretion.
  • Assist with office operations, vendor coordination, and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3+ years of Executive Assistant, Senior Administrative Assistant, or related administrative support experience.
  • Experience supporting executives within professional services, consulting, financial services, legal services, accounting, engineering, or similar environments preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience coordinating travel, meetings, and executive communications.
  • High degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
Pay Details: $26.00 to $39.00 per hour
