About the Role

Senior Executive Assistant
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Executive Assistant on behalf of a mission-driven organization in New York City. This position will provide high-level executive and administrative support to two members of the organization's C-suite leadership team, including a Chief-level Communications & Marketing executive and the CFO.
The ideal candidate is a polished, highly organized executive support professional who exercises excellent judgment, anticipates needs, manages competing priorities with ease, and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, highly confidential environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on behalf of senior executives
  • Manage complex calendars, scheduling, meeting coordination, and changing priorities
  • Monitor and prioritize correspondence and ensure time-sensitive matters receive appropriate follow-up
  • Draft and proofread executive correspondence, communications, reports, presentations, and other materials
  • Coordinate meetings from start to finish, including agendas, materials, conference logistics, technology, and catering
  • Manage executive travel arrangements and related logistics, including travel associated with Board and committee meetings
  • Prepare and process expense reports
  • Communicate effectively with executive leadership, direct reports, clients, vendors, partners, and other stakeholders
  • Track executive deliverables, administrative priorities, and deadlines to ensure timely completion
  • Conduct research and summarize findings as needed
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with the highest level of discretion
  • Independently manage special projects and additional executive support needs from conception through completion
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting C-suite or senior executive leadership
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex executive calendars, meetings, travel, correspondence, and expenses
  • Exceptional written communication, grammar, proofreading, and editing skills
  • Strong judgment and ability to anticipate needs and prioritize with limited supervision
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and follow-through skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with senior leaders and external stakeholders
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Adobe/Acrobat experience preferred
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while managing multiple deadlines and confidential matters
  • Experience within a legal, nonprofit, advocacy, or similarly mission-driven environment is a plus
  • Flexibility to accommodate the needs of senior executives when necessary
