The Opportunity:
Installtec, Inc. is seeking experienced commercial field personnel with a background in concrete construction, plaster, stucco, commercial waterproofing, fireproofing, or spray polyurethane foam application.
You will bring your hands-on construction experience to a team installing commercial fireproofing, intumescent coatings, insulation, and specialty building systems. Candidates with transferable trade skills and a willingness to learn Installtec’s application methods are encouraged to apply.

How You Will Make an Impact:
- Perform commercial specialty construction work, including surface preparation, material mixing, application, and finishing.
- Apply existing skills from concrete construction, plaster, stucco, commercial waterproofing, or related trades to Installtec’s specialty systems.
- Operate and maintain pumps, mixers, spray equipment, and construction tools appropriate to your training and assigned work.
- Assist with installing commercial fireproofing, spray polyurethane foam, protective coatings, and other specialty systems to project specifications.
- Prepare job-site surfaces by cleaning, masking, and inspecting substrate conditions before application.
- Perform daily equipment checks, cleanouts, and routine maintenance to support continuous production.
- Monitor material consistency, thickness, coverage, and finish quality to meet project requirements.
- Maintain strict job-site safety compliance in accordance with OSHA guidelines and company procedures.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in one or more of the following: concrete construction, plaster, stucco, commercial waterproofing, fireproofing, or spray polyurethane foam application.
- Active OSHA 10 certification.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Experience using construction tools, mixing equipment, pumps, or application equipment relevant to your trade.
- Ability to follow project instructions, material application requirements, and job-site safety procedures.
- Willingness to learn specialty application systems and equipment through company-provided training.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of working hours to regional project sites.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience working on large-scale commercial specialty construction jobs.
- Experience operating, troubleshooting, or maintaining commercial spray pumps and rigs.
- Familiarity with fireproofing, intumescent coatings, spray foam, EIFS, stucco systems, air barriers, or commercial waterproofing.
- Knowledge of material mixing, substrate preparation, application thickness, and material yield management.
- Proven ability to train or guide junior crew members on equipment maintenance, workmanship, and safety protocols.
