Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Occasional rotational weekend coverage and periodic evening shifts up to 9:00 PM as needed.

About the Role
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a bilingual Global Forwarding Coordinator for a growing logistics and transportation operation in Laredo, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting international shipping operations.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring compliance with export regulations and customer requirements.
Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit Automated Export System (AES) filings accurately and on time.
• Review shipping documentation to ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations.
• Validate commodity classifications, shipment values, quantities, and destination information.
• Research and resolve filing discrepancies, shipment holds, and documentation issues.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, internal teams, and government agencies regarding export requirements.
• Track and trace shipments from origin through final delivery.
• Generate and maintain shipment records, documentation, and customer reports.
• Monitor export transactions to ensure compliance with Customs, Census Bureau, and AES regulations.
• Support audits, reporting activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform load audits and ensure customer data accuracy and integrity.
• Assist with shipment inquiries, issue resolution, and operational support.
• Follow customer SOPs, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
• Maintain organized records and documentation.
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, export operations, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience supporting international shipping or export compliance processes.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines effectively.
