About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Assistant to support daily HR operations in a remote environment. This role will assist with employee onboarding, records management, recruiting coordination, benefits administration, and general HR support. The ideal candidate is professional, tech-savvy, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing new hire documentation and maintaining employee records.
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate communication with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Support benefits administration, enrollment changes, and employee inquiries.
  • Maintain HR databases, personnel files, and employee information with a high level of accuracy.
  • Process employment verifications, status changes, and other HR-related documentation.
  • Assist with recruiting activities, including posting jobs, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  • Support payroll and timekeeping processes by collecting and verifying employee information.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and HR correspondence using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources team.
Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 1+ years of administrative, HR, recruiting, or office support experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, ADP, UKG, Paycom, or similar is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.

Pay Details: $19.00 to $25.00 per hour
