Job Summary:A prominent healthcare organization is seeking to hire an HR Business Partner on a temporary basis with the possibility of permanent hire down the line. This role will act as a main point of contact for employees regarding all matters from benefits, compensation and employment questions/issues to employee relations and workplace concerns. The qualified candidate must have at least three years of experience as an HRBP, a bachelor's degree in a related field and experience with unions. The hours are Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week, with a strong possibility of overtime.

Responsibilities:- Provide guidance to employees on internal mobility, career advancement opportunities, and development resources.
- Partner with leadership to support employee engagement initiatives, retention strategies, and a positive workplace culture.
- Facilitate offboarding discussions and analyze feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist in resolving employee relations concerns and collaborate with appropriate HR resources when needed.
- Work closely with specialized HR subject matter experts to address a broad range of workforce-related matters.
- Serve as a resource for employees with compensation-related inquiries, including concerns about pay equity or salary practices.
- Gather relevant information and coordinate with compensation specialists to ensure questions are addressed appropriately.
- Act as a liaison between employees and the compensation team to facilitate communication and resolution.
- Coordinate employee offboarding activities including separation documentation, equipment return processes, and exit data tracking
- Function as the primary HR partner for assigned business units and leadership teams.
- Compile and maintain operational, workforce, and organizational reports for both local and corporate stakeholders.
- Support employee-related documentation, including unemployment claims, grievance responses, and other sensitive personnel matters.
- Advise managers and employees on company policies, workplace issues, and interpretation of employment guidelines or agreements.
- Respond to routine benefits questions and connect employees with specialized benefits resources when needed.
- Provide guidance on more complex or sensitive employee situations while collaborating with HR Associates who handle general inquiries.
- Assist employees and leaders with leave-related matters and other individualized workforce concerns.
- Address employee issues requiring elevated HR support and partner with Employee Relations or Legal teams when situations warrant additional investigation or oversight.
Required Experience:- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- A minimum of three years as an HRBP
- Experience working with unions is a must
- Healthcare experience is strongly preferred
- Prior use within an HRIS; Peoplesoft a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Employee relations experience
Pay Details: $45.00 to $63.00 per hour
