A highly respected plaintiff-side litigation firm is seeking an experienced
Civil Litigation Paralegal to join its growing team in Denver. This is an opportunity to work alongside accomplished litigators handling complex personal injury, mass tort, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and sensitive civil litigation matters.
This position is ideal for a self-sufficient litigation paralegal who thrives in a trial-focused environment and is passionate about helping clients pursue justice in high-impact cases.
Responsibilities - Manage all phases of discovery, including document collection, review, and production
- Draft and respond to written discovery, deposition notices, and subpoenas
- Prepare trial notebooks, witness files, exhibit lists, and demonstratives
- Provide in-court trial support, including exhibit management and witness coordination
- Coordinate with experts, court reporters, opposing counsel, and vendors
- Maintain case files, deadlines, and litigation calendars
- Communicate with clients professionally, empathetically, and confidentially
- Support attorneys through case workup, mediation, settlement, and trial
Qualifications - 5+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience (3-4 years considered with substantial trial experience)
- Significant trial preparation and courtroom support experience required
- Personal injury litigation experience required
- Experience with catastrophic injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, or similar litigation preferred
- Experience handling sensitive subject matter, including sexual assault litigation, is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of federal and Colorado civil procedure and discovery rules
- Experience with e-discovery platforms and litigation technology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and case management software
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred
