LHH is partnering with a growing organization in the Richmond area to identify a Logistics & Account Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced operations environment. This position offers a blend of logistics coordination, order management, customer support, and account administration. Responsibilities
  • Coordinate outbound shipments and assist with transportation scheduling to support on-time deliveries.
  • Monitor incoming inventory and shipment activity, communicating updates and resolving delivery-related issues as they arise.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding order status, product availability, and shipment timelines.
  • Enter and maintain customer orders while ensuring accuracy throughout the fulfillment process.
  • Support customer accounts by responding to inquiries, providing follow-up, and maintaining accurate account information.
  • Track open orders, identify potential obstacles, and proactively communicate solutions.
  • Maintain detailed records of orders, logistics activities, customer interactions, and shipment documentation.
  • Generate reports related to inventory movement, order tracking, and account activity.
  • Utilize project management and collaboration tools to organize workflows and task priorities.
  • Partner with operations, sales, customer service, and logistics teams to support overall business goals.
  • Contribute ideas and process improvements that enhance efficiency, service levels, and operational performance.
  • Ensure deadlines are met while delivering a high level of customer support.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in logistics, transportation, customer service, account coordination, order processing, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to learn new systems and software platforms quickly.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and follow-up abilities.
  • Comfortable working onsite in a team-oriented setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting customer accounts or coordinating product orders.
  • Background working with logistics, inventory, shipping, or distribution activities.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana or similar platforms.
  • Experience preparing reports and maintaining operational documentation.
