We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Inbound Coordinator job in Greensboro, NC! This is a temp to hire, fully on-site role. In this role you will support international inbound logistics planning, forecasting, reporting, and exception management. This role works with logistics data from Power BI and Excel to evaluate future shipment volumes, identify capacity concerns, monitor overdue bookings, and communicate actionable findings to internal business divisions. You must have practical experience in international freight or inbound logistics and can independently interpret and manipulate data. This is NOT a warehouse, domestic transportation, shipment scheduling, or carrier-facing role.
Responsibilities- Download recurring logistics reports from Power BI and export data into Excel for review and analysis.
- Prepare and distribute weekly reports across multiple business divisions and operational areas.
- Analyze future inbound volumes by origin, lane, division, and container allocation.
- Identify exceptions, capacity concerns, overdue bookings, and discrepancies requiring follow-up.
- Review container volume forecasts against available lane allocations.
- Evaluate consolidation opportunities for smaller shipment volumes.
- Use Excel formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and related functions to organize and analyze logistics data.
- Interpret findings and understand the operational context behind the numbers.
- Respond to questions from internal stakeholders without relying on step-by-step direction.
- Communicate regularly with production, sales, logistics, and other internal business teams.
- Participate in weekly and biweekly meetings to review reports, exceptions, and business needs.
- Maintain and support KPI reports and logistics trackers.
- Contribute to the continued development and improvement of existing reports and analytical processes.
- Assist other logistics teams as business needs arise.
Qualifications- At least 2 years of relevant experience in international freight, international imports, inbound logistics, or a closely related logistics environment.
- Experience using Power BI reports or dashboards.
- Experience with SAP or another ERP system preferred.
- Applied experience using Excel to analyze and manipulate operational data.
- Working knowledge of pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP, and XLOOKUP.
- Experience reviewing reports, identifying exceptions, and communicating findings to internal stakeholders.
- Understanding of international freight terminology, container movements, shipping lanes, origins, and capacity or allocation concepts.
- Ability to work independently and determine appropriate next steps after reviewing data.
- Strong written communication skills, including the ability to manage a high volume of email correspondence across multiple business divisions.
- Ability to explain report findings and respond effectively to follow-up questions.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting forecasting, allocation planning, KPI reporting, or inbound freight analysis.
- Experience identifying shipment consolidation opportunities.
- Experience working across production, sales, logistics, and other internal business functions.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
