About the Role

Marketing Coordinator (Contract) Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid | 2-3 Days Per Week Onsite) Schedule: 40 Hours Per Week Contract Duration: November 1, 2026 - February 28, 2027 Extension Potential: High Likelihood of Extension Based on Performance and Business Needs LHH is partnered with our long-standing client to search for a motivated and detail-focused Marketing Coordinator to join a collaborative marketing team supporting a variety of business initiatives. This role is ideal for a marketing professional who enjoys managing projects, coordinating campaigns, analyzing results, and working across multiple departments to ensure marketing programs are delivered effectively and on schedule. The successful candidate will be proactive, highly organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and eager to leverage emerging technologies, including AI-based tools, to improve efficiency and marketing outcomes. Role Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in marketing, campaign coordination, marketing operations, project.
  • Experience within a B2B, agency, insurance, financial services, or highly matrixed corporate environment.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools, content management systems, email marketing platforms, and project management software.
  • Exposure to campaign reporting, performance analytics, and marketing operations processes.
  • Experience using generative AI tools and interest in applying technology to improve workflow efficiency.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

Role Responsibilities: Marketing Program Support
  • Assist with the implementation of integrated marketing initiatives across digital, email, social media, and website channels.
  • Coordinate project workflows, approvals, and review processes to ensure timely completion of marketing deliverables.
  • Support campaign deployment activities, including email communications and digital content distribution.
  • Facilitate website updates, content changes, and coordination with internal and external support resources.
  • Maintain accurate records, project documentation, and marketing activity tracking within designated platforms.
Project & Stakeholder Management
  • Work closely with marketing leadership and key business partners to support ongoing initiatives and communications.
  • Monitor project schedules, deliverables, and dependencies across multiple concurrent assignments.
  • Provide regular progress updates while proactively identifying challenges and helping drive solutions.
  • Assist in coordinating meetings, follow-up items, and communication among stakeholders.
Data, Analytics & Reporting
  • Support recurring reporting processes by compiling and organizing information from various marketing and business sources.
  • Create presentations, performance summaries, and reporting materials for internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain reporting schedules and ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
  • Help analyze campaign and program results to provide meaningful business insights.
Process Optimization & Innovation
  • Assist with initiatives focused on improving marketing effectiveness through technology and automation.
  • Support the use of AI-powered tools, standardized prompts, and knowledge-sharing resources.
  • Recommend opportunities to enhance workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve consistency across marketing activities.
  • Contribute ideas that help streamline operations and improve team productivity.
Additional Support
  • Ensure all communications and marketing materials follow established brand, compliance, and quality standards.
  • Participate in special projects and additional responsibilities as business needs evolve.

Pay Details: $38.00 to $40.00 per hour

What You'll Do
