LHH is seeking a Production Supervisor for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client located in Columbus, Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organization known for its commitment to quality, operational excellence, and employee development. In this role, you will lead daily production activities, drive continuous improvement initiatives, develop and mentor team members, and lead goal achievement. The compensation is commensurate to experience and will range between $68,000-$70,000 per year plus bonus and includes comprehensive benefit and insurance plans, Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.
***Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.*** JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - Supervise daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals
- Lead, coach, and develop production employees across assigned shifts
- Monitor workflow and adjust staffing to meet production requirements
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and operating procedures
- Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions when needed
- Conduct employee training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary discussions
- Analyze production metrics and communicate performance results to leadership
- Coordinate resources to support production schedules and customer commitments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges
- Maintain accurate attendance, scheduling, and timekeeping records
- Support equipment reliability through proactive communication with maintenance teams
- Drive workplace organization and housekeeping initiatives throughout the facility
- Assist with process documentation, procedure updates, and operational improvements
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on accountability and results
QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor Degree is preferred but not required
- Minimum of 5+ years of production leadership experience within a manufacturing facility is required
- Must have experience leading hourly production associates
- Must have the ability to drive productivity, quality, and safety improvements
- Must have experience utilizing ERP or production management systems
- Ideal candidates will have experience managing production schedules and staffing plans
- Ideal candidates will have experience with continuous improvement methodologies
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
