Receptionist
Location: Onsite: California, MD
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This position serves as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees while providing administrative support to ensure smooth daily office operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and direct visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Answer and route incoming calls through a multi-line phone system or switchboard
  • Provide information and assistance to visitors, clients, and employees
  • Receive, process, and distribute incoming and outgoing packages and deliveries
  • Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor badges or security passes as needed
  • Coordinate boardroom schedules and ensure meeting room equipment is functioning properly
  • Perform general administrative duties including filing, typing, photocopying, scanning, and mail distribution
  • Assist with preparing mailers, reports, presentations, and other administrative projects
  • Support office operations with additional clerical tasks as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 0-2 years of receptionist, administrative, customer service, or office support experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
