LHH is partnering with a client in Mocksville searching for an Safety Coordinator to join their team! This role will be 3-6 months with potential to convert to a permanent position. Hours are M-F 8-5 fully onsite and will pay $27-36/hr.
Prior safety experience within a manufacturing environment required to be eligible for this role! Responsibilities: - Work alongside Safety Manager to support safety within manufacturing facility
- Conduct safety/OSHA trainings and ensure new hires are briefed on safety requirements
- Conduct safety audits
- Implement new safety SOP's based on incident history and areas for improvement
- Increase employee engagement related to safety
Qualifications:- Must have prior safety experience within a manufacturing environment
- Process improvement and employee engagement experience required
- Strong communication and organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Experience with OSHA and ISO required
