Senior Sales Tax Accountant to join their corporate Tax Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with sales and use tax experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating across multiple jurisdictions.
What You'll Do✅ Prepare and file monthly sales and use tax returns
✅ Assist with unclaimed property reporting and compliance
✅ Manage and support multi-state sales and use tax audits
✅ Communicate directly with state and local taxing authorities
✅ Prepare and assist with various business tax filings
✅ Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives
✅ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements
What We're Looking For✔ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
✔ 1-3 years of sales and use tax compliance experience, preferably in a multi-state environment
✔ Strong knowledge of tax compliance and reporting requirements
✔ Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets
✔ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
✔ Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
✔ Effective written and verbal communication skills
✔ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
