About the Role

Charlotte, NC (Pineville Area) (5 days onsite - great offices/environment)
A leading multinational manufacturing company with its North American headquarters in Charlotte is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to join its finance team. This role supports cost accounting, inventory valuation, month-end close, financial reporting, and operational analysis within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage cost accounting, inventory reconciliations, and production variance analysis.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
  • Maintain fixed asset accounting and inventory controls.
  • Prepare financial reports and support audit requirements.
  • Drive process improvements and provide financial analysis to support business decisions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, cost accounting, or inventory accounting.
  • Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills.
  • CPA or CPA-track is preferred but not required.
