In support of our mission, vision, and strategic goals, this position is responsible for the development, management, implementation, security and customization of SharePoint solutions. Also provides support for other various web sites, applications and databases.

A sample of primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate commitment to superior customer service, including quality, care and concern with each and every internal and external customer
Uses, protects, and discloses patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards
Designs and improves SharePoint sites, navigation, and user-interface
Investigates, analyzes, and resolves system problems, including workflow issues
Provides daily administration and maintenance of SharePoint sites including updating content
Manages and responds to change requests; tracks projects and tasks through the software development life cycle
Works closely with our business partners to gather requirements and develop new intranet functionality
Able to conduct detailed requirements analysis and document functional specifications
Publish content for online for intranet projects, including layout, graphics, Information Architecture, usability, best practices and internal standards
Gathers and manipulates graphic text, video and other elements for interactive display
Creates process documents, standard operating procedures (SOPS), and workflows that capture best practices
Serve as a resource for the web content management system, helping provide direction and training on functionality and usability
Provides training and end-user support regarding SharePoint and other applications
Provide support, upgrades and implementation for other applications and processes (home grown or vendor solutions) used in our organization
Performs installs, updates and version upgrades for supported applications, as needed
Assists in resolution of production application/operational problems as necessary
Assists users in answering questions to ensure the applications are properly used in conjunction with their business process
Develop documentation necessary for other staff to perform primary tasks on a backup basis
Assists in resolution of problems for in-house developed and vendor applications, working with vendors as necessary
Provide timely communication on status and issues on a weekly basis
Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
• Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in program development in a time-critical environment such as a healthcare organization using mainstream programming tools and methodologies
