LHH Accounting Principals is partnering with a growing organization in
Carrollton, TX to identify a
Contract Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with strong reconciliation and general ledger experience who is comfortable working with Excel and accounting systems.
Responsibilities- Perform account and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Maintain depreciation schedules and fixed asset records
- Prepare and record accruals and prepaid expenses
- Assist with Excel-based accounting and financial reports
- Research and resolve discrepancies as needed
- Support month-end close activities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
- Assist with other accounting projects and duties as assigned
Qualifications- 2+ years of Staff Accountant or general accounting experience
- Experience with account and bank reconciliations
- Strong understanding of journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and depreciation
- Advanced Excel skills required, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs
- Experience working with an ERP or accounting system
- NetSuite experience is a plus
- Flowcast experience is a plus
Pay Details: $33.65 to $38.46 per hour
