LHH is partnering with a leading organization in the Twin Cities seeking a detail-oriented

This role offers the opportunity to support month-end close activities, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives while working alongside experienced accounting and finance professionals.

Key Responsibilities- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain general ledger accounts and supporting schedules
- Review transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting policies
- Analyze financial data and investigate variances
- Assist with preparing financial statements and management reports
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit activities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
- Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business objectives
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1+ years of accounting experience preferred
- Understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities

Compensation: $65,000-$95,000BenefitsBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.
