Senior Tax AccountantOklahoma City, OK (Hybrid option available) $85,000 - $95,000 + Bonus Potential
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing public accounting firm to fill a Senior Tax Accountant to join its collaborative team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client base while gaining exposure to complex tax engagements, tax planning strategies, and client advisory services. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in public accounting and enjoy building client relationships while delivering high-quality tax solutions.
Responsibilities- Prepare and review individual, partnership, S-Corporation, and corporate tax returns
- Conduct tax research and analyze complex tax issues
- Assist with tax planning projects and client consulting engagements
- Review work prepared by junior staff and provide mentorship
- Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters and notices
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and compliance risks
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of tax filings
- Stay current on federal, state, and local tax regulations
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- 3+ years of tax experience in public accounting
- CPA license or active pursuit of CPA preferred
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
- Experience with tax preparation and research software
- Advanced Excel skills preferred
