Salary Range: $95,000 – $125,000 + truck allowance + performance bonuses

Position Overview
The Construction Superintendent is responsible for supervising all field operations on assigned job sites. This includes coordinating subcontractors, enforcing safety standards, managing schedules, and ensuring work is completed according to plans and quality requirements. The ideal candidate has strong field leadership skills and a successful track record managing commercial or multifamily projects.
Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day field operations for commercial projects between $5M–$40M.

Manage subcontractors, vendors, trades, and laborers on-site.

Enforce strict adherence to OSHA and company safety standards.

Maintain and update a 3-week look-ahead schedule.

Conduct daily site walks to monitor quality, progress, and safety.

Run daily huddles and weekly subcontractor meetings.

Oversee inspections, permitting, RFIs, and on-site documentation.

Approve timesheets, delivery logs, and daily reports.

Work closely with the Project Manager to resolve issues efficiently.

Ensure site cleanliness and overall job site organization.
Minimum Qualifications

4+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.

Strong experience in commercial, industrial, or multifamily construction.

Ability to read/interpret blueprints, specs, and construction documents.

Proficient with Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, or similar tools.

Excellent communication and team leadership capabilities.

Proven experience managing schedules and multi-trade coordination.

Knowledge of local codes, permitting, and inspection processes.
Preferred Qualifications

OSHA 30 certification.

Experience with ground-up steel or concrete structures.

Experience with Tennessee state/local construction processes.

Strong ability to anticipate issues and solve problems on the fly.
