The Opportunity
You will serve as a key specialist in our Property Maintenance and Renovation Division, transforming residential and multi-family spaces with high-quality tile installations and repairs. This role allows you to take pride in your craftsmanship while completing custom bathroom, kitchen, and turn-key punch work across diverse property communities. How You Will Make an Impact
- Install, replace, and repair tile assemblies in kitchens and bathrooms, including shower walls, tub surrounds, and backsplashes.
- Perform detailed measuring, cutting, layout, grouting, and finishing work to align with strict quality standards.
- Prepare underlying surfaces and execute required waterproofing measures for wet-area tile installations.
- Execute general renovation tasks, punch work, and turn-key prep, including minor carpentry, fixture installation, and caulking.
- Inspect finished installations for consistency, alignment, and long-term durability before handing over units.
- Collaborate with job supervisors and surrounding trades to streamline schedules and maintain property workflow.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Valid Driver's License.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential, multi-family, or commercial tile installation and repair.
- Possession and maintenance of personal hand tools necessary for daily tile setting tasks.
- Proven expertise in tile layout, substrate preparation, wet cutting, grouting, and finishing methods.
- Demonstrated physical ability to perform heavy labor, including lifting up to 70 pounds and kneeling for long durations.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience with multi-family apartment communities, townhomes, and turn-key unit preparations.
- Specialized experience with shower waterproofing systems and tile repair material matching.
- Broad background in general renovation trades, including carpentry, caulking, and fixture mounting.
