The Opportunity
You will play a vital role in building, installing, and servicing advanced SmartDoor shielding systems that enable cutting-edge cancer care worldwide, as well as supporting industrial applications in the nondestructive testing (NDT) industry.
Working both in our Harleysville facility and at customer sites nationwide, you will solve complex electromechanical challenges while delivering mission-critical installations.

How You Will Make an Impact
- Assemble, stage, and validate high-precision SmartDoor systems within the Harleysville production facility to guarantee flawless operational readiness.
- Execute nationwide on-site installation, commissioning, and final architectural finishing for radiation shielding doors across leading cancer centers.
- Diagnose and repair complex electromechanical assemblies, drive motors, and control systems using structured technical troubleshooting methods.
- Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and deliver operational equipment training to hospital facilities teams, general contractors, and clinical staff.
- Generate comprehensive, prompt field service reports using mobile technology to document equipment performance and drive product enhancements.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience assembling, maintaining, repairing, or troubleshooting mechanical equipment such as machinery, vehicles, doors, motors, or industrial systems.
- Demonstrated proficiency reading and interpreting construction blueprints, schematics, and technical engineering specifications.
- Proven track record using hand tools, power tools, and digital testing instruments for component assembly and electromechanical diagnostics.
- Ability to commute to the company’s Harleysville, Pennsylvania shop for training, assembly, testing, and other shop work between field assignments.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% across the United States to fulfill customer installation and service requirements.
- Possession of a valid Real ID driver's license or passport with the capability to support domestic travel assignments
- Physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds and maneuver equipment comfortably in elevated or confined service compartments.
- Ability and willingness to use ladders and work in tight or elevated spaces.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Experience as a maintenance mechanic, automotive or diesel mechanic, industrial service technician, machine repair technician, or in a similar hands-on role.
- Experience troubleshooting motors, drives, mechanical assemblies, automated doors, or other moving equipment.
- Familiarity with basic electrical systems, control panels, wiring diagrams, or electrical troubleshooting. Electrical experience is helpful, and training may be provided.
- Experience with rigging, lifting, or positioning heavy equipment using safe work practices.
- Trade school, technical training, or certifications in mechanical, electromechanical, or mechatronics fields.
- Capability to support potential international travel assignments
