The Opportunity
You will step into an impactful development role bridging the field and administrative sides of commercial construction. You will receive hands-on training to manage high-stakes builds while working directly alongside experienced project leaders and trade partners. This role gives you the opportunity to take initiative, master project management workflows, and build a lasting career with a respected contractor.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Assist with coordinating daily administrative and on-site workflows for commercial, industrial, and federal ground-up projects.
- Process, track, and organize project submittals, RFIs, change orders, and critical job documentation.
- Communicate project requirements proactively across field crews, trade subcontractors, and design partners.
- Support project scheduling and job site reviews to help maintain strict project milestones and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with superintendents and senior managers to resolve site challenges and prevent project delays.
- Represent the company with professionalism during site walks, project meetings, and owner interactions.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years of related construction experience in the field or in an office coordination role.
- Proven understanding of both hands-on construction field work and standard project paperwork requirements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an eagerness to learn, take on challenges, and grow.
- Must reside within a 1-hour commute of the company office in Warrensville Heights, OH.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of working hours to regional job site locations.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Associate degree, Bachelor's degree, or formal technical trade school completion in Construction Management or Engineering.
- Basic familiarity with commercial blueprints, specifications, and modern construction project software.
- Prior exposure to commercial, industrial, or government-funded building projects.
