Assistant Manager – Tax Services

Assistant Manager – Tax Services is responsible for delivering comprehensive, end-to-end tax solutions to external clients. This role ensures that clients' financial operations remain fully compliant with Indonesian tax regulations while identifying opportunities for optimization. Assistant Manager provides strategic guidance, oversees complex tax projects, and supports clients in navigating audits, due diligence, and business transactions with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
Work Review & Quality Assurance Review and verify the work of Senior and Junior Consultants to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Regulatory Monitoring Stay up to date with changes in Indonesian tax laws and regulations, proactively identifying potential risks and opportunities for clients.
Project Leadership Lead and manage tax-related projects and business initiatives, including: tax audits, tax due diligence, tax memoranda, formal tax responses.
Tax Analysis & Advisory Analyze tax implications to support both technical assessments and strategic business decisions.
Transaction Advisory Provide expert tax advice on complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, cross-border transactions.
Research & Insights Conduct in-depth tax research and deliver insightful analysis to support informed decision-making.
Key Requirements
Education Bachelor's degree in Taxation or Accounting (minimum requirement).
Experience Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a tax consulting firm, with proven supervisory responsibilities.
Certification Holder of a valid USKP B License.
Technical Knowledge In-depth understanding of Indonesian tax regulations and laws.
Tax Expertise Strong expertise in analyzing Value Added Tax (VAT), Withholding Tax (WHT), Corporate Income Tax (CIT).
Financial Analysis Proficient in reviewing and interpreting financial statements, particularly tax-related accounts.
Analytical Skills Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Leadership Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to guide, mentor, and develop team members.
Communication Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Indonesian.
