About the Role

As (Senior) Sales Manager – Commodity (f/m/d) you will be responsible for acquiring new customers and completing your own customer portfolio in the commodity sector. As part of our Commodity team, you will work to further expand the Commodity and Forestry Products business and build long-term and profitable customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for the acquisition of new customers and the completion of your customer portfolio in the area of commodity sea freight export.
  • You will be responsible for both sales and procurement for your customers.
  • Promote our product by paying special attention to the needs of our customers.
  • Working closely with our customers, maintaining our customer relationships and thus actively contributing to their and our success.
  • Anticipate future customer needs and improve our customer platform in close collaboration with our product development team.
Required Skills and Experience
  • You have several years of professional experience in commodity sales
  • You enjoy acquisition and communicating with partners from various industries
  • You not only have exceptional sales talent but also the ability to build and maintain a network
  • You have a strong hands-on mentality and the ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment
  • You are a reliable team player with a proactive and independent working style
  • You are fluent in English
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • You ideally have an existing customer portfolio in the Forestry Product area
