About the Role

LHH Recruitment Solutions, in partnership with a non-profit organization in New York, is seeking an interim AGC - Assistant General Counsel - to join their team on a contract basis.
This role is very flexible for hybrid but requires travel to NYC - especially during the initial period. This role is anticipated to last for 6+ months, full-time hours, depending on workflow.
Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and negotiating loan documents and other credit documentation
  • Advising on a wide variety of matters including loan amendments, modifications, workouts, loan structuring, transaction strategy, and credit risk matters
  • Working collaboratively with various internal and external teams
  • Drafting contracts, provisions, and templates
  • Handling general corporate matters
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of legal experience in finance, lending, or general commercial transactions
  • JD and active license in good standing in any U.S. jurisdiction
  • Excellent research skills
  • Experience representing lenders in secured and unsecured loans required
The anticipated pay rate for this position is between $100 and $125 per hour, depending on experience.
Pay Details: $100.00 to $125.00 per hour
