IP Docketing Specialist (Trademark & Copyright)
Confidential Law Firm | California (Hybrid or Remote) Direct Hire | $65,000 - $85,000 DOE
Locations: San Francisco, San Diego, DTLA, Orange County
LHH is recruiting on behalf of a confidential, established California law firm seeking an IP Docketing Specialist to support a busy intellectual property practice. This role focuses on trademark and copyright docketing for domestic and international matters. Candidates may work from one of several California offices or remotely.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and manage trademark and copyright dockets, calendars, and filing deadlines.
  • Track U.S. and international trademark prosecution matters, renewals, office actions, oppositions, and related filings.
  • Generate docket reports and follow up with attorneys and legal staff regarding upcoming deadlines.
  • Review correspondence and filings for docketing action items.
  • Support compliance with firm docketing procedures and assist with special projects.
  • Utilize IP docketing software, including WebTMS, to manage deadlines and records.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of intellectual property docketing experience, with a strong emphasis on trademark docketing.
  • Knowledge of U.S. and international trademark prosecution procedures.
  • Experience working with USPTO, TTAB, and related trademark databases and filing systems.
  • WebTMS experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to independently manage high-volume deadlines.
  • Stable employment history preferred.
