About the Role

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a reputable law firm to recruit a pre litigation attorney. This full time position is ideal for an attorney with at least one year of experience in workers compensation or personal injury law who enjoys early case strategy, client interaction, and negotiating favorable outcomes prior to formal litigation. The role focuses on managing cases from intake through settlement and requires strong communication and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities: • Manage personal injury or workers compensation cases during the pre litigation phase from intake through settlement • Conduct initial client consultations and gather relevant case information and documentation • Evaluate liability, damages, and case value to develop strategy and settlement approach • Draft demand packages and negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing parties • Communicate regularly with clients regarding case updates, medical treatment, and expectations • Request, review, and analyze medical records, bills, and supporting evidence • Maintain organized case files and ensure all documentation is current and complete • Coordinate with medical providers, experts, and internal staff to support case development • Track deadlines and ensure timely progression of all assigned matters • Collaborate with litigation attorneys when cases transition into formal litigation

Qualifications: • Juris Doctor degree and active admission to the state bar • At least one year of experience in personal injury or workers compensation law • Experience handling cases in the pre litigation phase is strongly preferred • Strong negotiation skills and ability to evaluate case value effectively • Excellent communication skills with a client focused approach • Ability to manage a high volume caseload and prioritize tasks efficiently • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management systems • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced legal environment This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients.
