About the Role

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established law firm in Orlando, Florida that is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized legal professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting attorneys throughout all phases of litigation.
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to attorneys.
  • Draft, revise, proofread, and format pleadings, motions, correspondence, and legal documents.
  • Prepare and file documents in state and federal courts, including electronic filing.
  • Maintain attorney calendars, litigation deadlines, and case schedules.
  • Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, client meetings, and conference calls.
  • Open, organize, and maintain electronic and physical case files.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and case-related communications.
  • Prepare hearing, mediation, arbitration, and trial materials.
  • Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, court personnel, and vendors.
  • Assist with billing, time entry, expense reporting, and other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of legal assistant experience in a litigation environment.
  • Employment law experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Florida court rules, procedures, and e-filing systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and legal document management systems.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and support staff.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work product.
