The Opportunity
You will serve as a key project leader driving commercial and residential projects from initial planning through final completion. How You Will Make an Impact
- Oversee daily commercial and residential construction operations to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Manage project schedules, material procurement, and resource allocation across multiple job sites.
- Direct and coordinate subcontractors, field crews, and vendors to maintain execution excellence and safety standards.
- Communicate transparently with clients, architects, and stakeholders to provide project updates and resolve issues.
- Review project blueprints, specifications, and scope documentation to ensure compliance with quality guidelines.
- Implement proactive cost-control measures and track project financials to maximize profitability.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 5 to 8 years of project management experience within commercial and residential construction environments.
- Proven track record of managing construction schedules, budgets, and site operations with minimal supervision.
- Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills to effectively manage crew members and client relationships.
- Ability to manage real-time site challenges and implement effective solutions quickly.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Prior experience working within the Lombard, IL or greater Chicagoland market.
- Proven experience with modern construction management software and technology tools.
- Formal education or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
