We're partnering with a well-established distribution organization seeking a
Warehouse Manager to lead a high-performing outbound operation. This is an opportunity for a hands-on leader who excels at coaching, developing employees, and creating a culture of accountability while ensuring operational goals are met. The ideal candidate is a manager rather than a daily doer, someone who can lead through others and build a strong, engaged team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop warehouse supervisors, frontline associates, and support personnel.
- Drive employee engagement, accountability, and team performance.
- Monitor and manage key warehouse performance metrics, including productivity, safety, labor utilization, and quality standards.
- Oversee workforce scheduling, attendance management, and timekeeping accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, operational procedures, and company standards.
- Coach and mentor team members while building succession plans and leadership capability within the organization.
- Review operational reports and performance dashboards to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Maintain a well-organized, efficient warehouse operation that can perform successfully through effective delegation and leadership.
- Oversee daily closing procedures and ensure the facility is secured and prepared for the next shift.
Qualifications- Experience leading teams within a warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain environment.
- Proven success managing frontline employees and supervisors.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
- Ability to hold teams accountable while maintaining a positive culture.
- Experience managing labor, productivity, safety, and operational KPIs.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems, ERP platforms, and reporting tools.
