About the Role
Director of Professional Services
Join Automattic as the Director of Professional Services for WordPress VIP, the leading enterprise content management platform. In this fully remote role, you will oversee a team responsible for managing migrations, implementations, and custom engagements for high-profile enterprise clients such as Meta, Salesforce, and Disney. This position requires a blend of leadership, commercial acumen, and deep understanding of AI-augmented delivery models.
Key Responsibilities
Build and lead a Professional Services organization that leverages AI for enhanced delivery.
Identify expansion opportunities and develop commercial relationships with enterprise customers.
Ensure delivery quality and manage project health and customer outcomes.
Develop a clear menu of service offerings for consistency and clarity in sales.
Engage with executive stakeholders on complex or at-risk projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
8+ years in leadership roles within Professional Services or technical consulting.
5+ years delivering services for enterprise SaaS or PaaS clients.
Experience in building and managing a service portfolio.
Fluency in leveraging AI to improve service delivery.
Strong communication skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
