The Opportunity
You will lead the end-to-end delivery of complex fire protection installation projects across mission-critical hyperscale data center campuses. This on-site leadership position empowers you to manage high-stakes builds while protecting vital digital infrastructure and human lives. How You Will Make an Impact:
- Manage multi-system fire protection installations from pre-construction design through final commissioning.
- Direct daily field operations, subcontractors, and field crews to maintain full site safety and accountability.
- Coordinate project milestones with general contractors to align seamlessly with critical path schedules.
- Monitor all labor, material, and equipment expenses against baseline budgets to eliminate financial variances.
- Negotiate and process change orders transparently to protect project scope and financial margins.
- Conduct internal inspections and pre-commissioning testing to preserve a 100% first-time pass rate with local AHJs.
- Deliver complete as-built documentation, O&M packages, and system owner training at final closeout.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record managing multi-system fire protection projects through full lifecycle delivery.
- Hands-on expertise and practical working knowledge of all applicable NFPA codes and AHJ standards.
- Willingness to maintain a daily on-site presence and travel up to 20% to regional project sites.
- Ability to work extended hours up to 80+ hours per week during critical project schedule windows.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of dedicated field experience in fire protection project management.
- NICET III in Sprinkler and/or Special Hazards
- Direct project management experience within hyperscale AI data center construction environments.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proficiency with industry software including Procore, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Excel.
