Construction Superintendent – San Jose, CA Full-time | On-site
Salary: $130,000 – $180,000 annually + benefits
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead and manage on-site operations for large-scale multi-family construction projects in the San Jose area. The Superintendent will ensure safety, quality, schedule adherence, and budget alignment while collaborating closely with project managers, subcontractors, and ownership teams.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all on-site construction activities and subcontractor coordination
Ensure safety compliance and enforce job site protocols
Manage project schedules and daily operations
Review drawings, plans, and specifications for accuracy and execution
Work closely with project managers to maintain project timelines and budgets
Conduct regular site inspections and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
Provide leadership and mentorship to field staff
Required Qualifications
15+ years of experience in multi-family or commercial construction
Strong command of construction safety protocols and OSHA standards
Proven ability to manage large crews, complex timelines, and budgets
Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership skills
Proficient in reading construction drawings, project software, and reports
Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred
California-based project experience
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
OSHA 30 Certification
