About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Project Manager to join our team in Overland Park, Kansas. This onsite role is responsible for overseeing commercial electrical construction projects from pre-construction planning through project completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial electrical systems, project management, budgeting, scheduling, and client relationship management.
Responsibilities
  • Manage commercial electrical construction projects from inception through closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, submittals, and change orders.
  • Manage procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Conduct project meetings and provide regular status updates to leadership and clients.
  • Identify and resolve project risks, conflicts, and schedule challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Oversee project documentation, invoicing, and project closeout activities.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience managing commercial electrical construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and construction processes.
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractors.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical drawings.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
