The Opportunity
You will lead daily field operations and subcontractor performance across flagship commercial rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects. This high-impact supervisory role empowers you to take full ownership of site safety, build quality, and project milestones across the Mid-Atlantic region. You will drive operational excellence backed by a national clean energy contractor with over 900 MW installed since 2005.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Direct subcontractor operations across active commercial rooftop and ground-mounted solar jobsites daily.
- Inspect installations to verify full compliance with Issued for Construction drawings and electrical codes.
- Execute daily quality control testing, log site deficiencies, and record QA/QC reports within Procore.
- Enforce strict jobsite safety standards encompassing OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E, and fall protection plans.
- Coordinate material deliveries, equipment logistics, utility tie-ins, and municipal inspections seamlessly.
- Manage construction progress against schedule benchmarks and report potential delays to the Construction Manager.
- Facilitate system commissioning, punch-list resolutions, and final as-built project closeouts efficiently.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of solar field supervision, commercial construction supervision, or electrical foreman experience.
- Proven track record supervising commercial subcontractor crews, site logistics, and daily production schedules.
- Technical proficiency in commercial PV systems including racking, module layout, inverters, and DC/AC wiring.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret civil site plans, architectural drawings, and electrical single-line diagrams.
- Active OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification and working knowledge of NFPA 70E safety practices.
- Strong technical skills using Procore or equivalent modern construction management software.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and full willingness to travel regionally across PA, MD, and DE.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Active Fall Protection Competent Person certification.
- Direct experience supervising utility-scale or large commercial ground-mount solar arrays.
- Formal trade training or electrical apprenticeship background in commercial renewable power systems.
