Location: North Carolina (Hybrid/Onsite/Remote)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing accounting team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end close activities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Essential Responsibilities
  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and balance sheet accounts.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
  • Analyze financial data and investigate account variances.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
  • Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules for management.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls.
  • Support special projects and additional accounting initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1-3+ years of accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
  • Experience with ERP systems and accounting software.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • CPA track or public accounting experience is a plus.

Compensation Transparency
The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000. The final compensation offered will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, education, certifications, skills, geographic location, and internal equity considerations.
This position may also be eligible for additional compensation and incentive programs where applicable.
