Corporate Claims & Contracts Paralegal

$70,000 - $85,000 (Up to $90,000 for an exceptional candidate)
Are you a detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys solving complex problems, investigating issues, and driving projects to resolution? A growing and established organization is seeking a Corporate Claims & Contracts Paralegal to take ownership of claims management and subcontractor insurance compliance in a fast-paced operational environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional who thrives working independently while collaborating across multiple departments.
What You'll Do
Claims Management

• Manage claims from intake through resolution
• Investigate property damage, personal injury, vehicle-related, and utility damage claims
• Gather documentation, analyze facts, and conduct investigations
• Interview internal stakeholders and operational personnel
• Develop strategic action plans and recommendations
• Coordinate with internal teams, insurers, and outside parties throughout the claims process

Subcontractor Insurance & Contract Compliance

• Review and manage subcontractor contracts and insurance requirements
• Track Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and policy renewals
• Verify compliance with contractual insurance obligations
• Review endorsements and coverage requirements
• Identify expired, deficient, or potentially fraudulent certificates
• Work closely with subcontractors, insurance brokers, and internal stakeholders to maintain compliance

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of corporate paralegal or related legal experience
• Claims management experience strongly preferred
• Experience reviewing and analyzing Certificates of Insurance (COIs)
• Experience with subcontractor management and contract compliance preferred
• Industry experience in construction, utilities, infrastructure, transportation, energy, or similar operational environments is highly valued
