LHH is seeking a
Senior Contracts Paralegal for a confidential in-house opportunity with a growing organization in Huntington Beach. This position will support contract management, legal operations, corporate governance, and litigation-related matters.
The ideal candidate is an independent, proactive professional who can assess outstanding work, establish priorities, improve processes, and move legal matters through completion with limited supervision.
Responsibilities- Draft, review, and manage business contracts using approved templates.
- Support contract lifecycle management implementation, including contract inventory, migration, and organization.
- Track contract approvals, obligations, renewals, deadlines, and open action items.
- Help develop contract templates, playbooks, workflows, and tracking processes.
- Support litigation, arbitration, employment, and other legal matters.
- Triage subpoenas and coordinate document collection for discovery.
- Assist with corporate governance documents, entity records, and Secretary of State filings.
- Conduct legal research and support regulatory, compliance, audit, investigation, and privacy matters.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and outside counsel.
- Identify process gaps and help build scalable legal department procedures.
- Manage multiple priorities while protecting sensitive and confidential information.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree required.
- Paralegal certificate required.
- Senior-level paralegal experience with a strong contracts focus.
- Contract drafting and lifecycle-management experience.
- Experience managing legal matters, deadlines, and competing priorities independently.
- Familiarity with litigation workflows and discovery-document collection.
- Strong drafting, organizational, project-management, and communication skills.
- Sound judgment and ability to work with limited supervision.
Preferred Experience- In-house legal department experience.
- Healthcare or regulated-industry experience.
- CLM implementation or contract-migration experience.
- Corporate governance and entity-filing experience.
- Experience with Ironclad, Jira, Monday.com, or comparable platforms.
