Housing Navigator, you'll guide participants through the housing process, support case management needs, build relationships with landlords, and help clients transition into stable housing. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in the field, solves problems quickly, and understands LA's homelessness response system.
What You'll Do- Provide housing navigation: unit searches, landlord outreach, application support, and move-in coordination.
- Manage a caseload of 15+, plus a floating CDSS caseload.
Conduct site visits and travel across Metro LA, South Bay, Long Beach, San Pedro & San Fernando Valley. - Complete required LAHSA/CDSS documentation.
- Collaborate with a supportive team and participate in HMIS and required trainings.
Key Qualifications- A minimum of 2+ years of housing navigation experience.
- Strong familiarity with the LA County Continuum of Care and LAHSA documentation.
- Experience working with diverse populations (families, individuals, couples).
- Valid Driver's License; able to use agency vehicles or drive personal vehicle for fieldwork. Mileage reimbursed.
- Bonus experience: Benefits advocacy (Social Security/SSI/SSDI), DCFS involvement
3 month contract with potential extension or perm role.
Pay Details: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour
